Contentment is a mercurial quality that, even as it is manifested, begins its over-ripening. Every mountain has a peak and you should find contentment in that you were once at the summit rather than that you are now in descent. Just find the way to the peaks around you and you will find contentment again. Ignore the clouds of worry.
In The Art of War, Master Sun says that "the superior man perceives the pivot and immediately acts." Every day there are pivots in our lives...moments that signal a change in the direction of our actions or of our attention. Recognizing those pivots teaches us to feel the rhythm of the flow of life, and gives us an ability to be ready for the otherwise unexpected.
