Sometimes I have a moment of great epiphony about doing random acts of kindness.
About the end of the week, last Thursday I believe, I brought my digicamera into the millshop. I had about five minutes on my hands and got an itch to snap a couple of views. My mind works like that.
But if I had a preconception of shooting wood and posts and machinery, it melted away as I walked in.

Woke up this morning promptly at 4am. Got right up, went and brushed teeth, took shower, shaved. A while later I opted to lie down for a while and just chill - had plenty of time - and listen to the early morning sounds outside. While lying there I heard a thunk on the wall. Oo goody. Nxt dr neibr might be getting the snot fucked out of her. Always a good show. So being the good neibr that I am I sat up and put my ear to the wall, figuring to hear the entertainment. Hmm. Nothing. Contentment is a mercurial quality that, even as it is manifested, begins its over-ripening. Every mountain has a peak and you should find contentment in that you were once at the summit rather than that you are now in descent. (continued...)
