So another outdoor mural season draws to a close for us New Yorkers. Looking back, I'm pretty thrilled by what the High Walls team has accomplished this year. I look forward to a winter in the studio and working on interior jobs.

Check out Art Face Off, there are tons of great pieces and the chance to give artists instant feedback. I can't wait for the first Face Off to begin! It's gonna totally rock!

So it's been about a month since I updated here last. Business is business: you could always use more, but what you've got keeps you very busy (which is good). For more on what's going on in my life, check out my Xanga.

Corn Hill was pretty awesome. Thanks to everybody that helped set up, maintain, sell, and breakdown the booth (most of the work/help came from business partner VJ and musician friend Joe). You guys rock. Lots of fun was had by atleast me. Day one was pretty tough, but day two (aka today) kicked serious butt. Thanks especially to everybody who came out and visited our booth.

So Artwalk rejected our submission. I think it's a sign that we just have different artistic sensibilities. I don't plan on submitting any more work or spending any more time on them. In other news, prep for the Corn Hill Arts Festival is well under way. The website update took a while, and it doesn't feature all the work I wanted to fit in, but there's just no more time to work on it right now. Booth prep is just about done, some little snags to work out, but looking good. The online store still isn't featuring prints, but we produce them in-house, so I'm not sure what selling means we'll take on that one yet. Right now, good old email is what's working best. The store does feature some nifty junk, though. That's about it for now, back to work

A big High-walls.com update with pics of most of my work from '06 is on the docket for this weekend, so cruise over and take a look. I'm ALWAYs interested in comments or questions, drop me a line. Also, I'm looking for any funky-artsy-cool t-shirt ideas! I have some up at the High Walls Cafe Press store. What I'm really looking for is input concerning what people would actually wear. Ideas? catch me on Xanga or myspace . Thanks!

It's been a while since I last updated, I've been busy (which is good, right?). Still waiting on paper suplies, but printing and the web store will REALLY be up soon... I hope. Corn Hill, a large Arts fest in Western NY, will be in two weeks, and I'm working on getting ready. Looks like the weather will be primo this year, which isn't always a given for WNY summers. I'm quite excited. If you find yourself in Rochester, NY on the weekend of July 8 & 9, drop by! I'll be at booth #15 on S. Fitzhugh Street. Mention the Pauper and I'll hook you up with some free goodies!

this summer, I plan on submitting for a whole bunch of local competitions as well as participating in the annual Corn Hill Arts Festival. I'm quite stoked about that one. Soon, High Walls will be offering prints again. Our printing service has been down for some time now, but it will be back with a vengence within the month. All this hopefully points to a very promising and productive summer!

I will be at Corn Hill Arts Festival in July, so things are going pretty well. We just finished a complicated installation on a concrete sculpture we'd been commissioned to do, pics at www.high-walls.com

My personal blog is at http://www.xanga.com/highwalls. I think the pauper/artistsearch.net is just about the coolest thing ever, and I can't wait to explore this space
